As the founder of Springtide Medical in Maitland, Florida, Melissa Collins is redefining wellness with a personalized, proactive approach to patient care. Backed by a diverse clinical background in critical care, family medicine, and neurosurgery, Melissa launched her practice to give patients the time, attention, and answers they deserve—moving past quick fixes to treat the root causes of their symptoms.

 

Specializing in hormone optimization, pellet therapy, cellular health, peptide therapy, and medical weight management, she blends evidence-based medicine with dedicated patient education. Melissa refuses to accept fatigue, brain fog, or hormonal imbalances as just “part of aging”. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Melissa enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable and, more importantly, she genuinely takes the time to listen and understand what’s going on instead of rushing through an appointment. She goes over every lab result in detail and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. If she recommends a medication or supplement, she explains exactly why and how it will help, so I always feel comfortable with my treatment plan. I never feel like “just another patient.” I always leave feeling heard, informed, and confident that I’m in great hands. And…I am feeling BETTER!!! Don’t wait…make an appointment now!

Just turned 45 and couldn’t figure out why my emotional instability, fits of anger, and sudden weight gain. Turns out that I have multiple hormone deficiencies that are causing all of my symptoms. I met with Melissa, had a comprehensive lab panel drawn and was given a care plan to address my symptoms. Literally within two days of starting NP thyroid and progesterone my mood became more stable And I haven’t had any emotional breakdowns. My husband is grateful because I haven’t freaked out on him either. I’m having the testosterone pellet Implanted next week and I can’t wait to see the results! I’m a nurse and consider myself to be educated but it never That occurred to me that these symptoms could be related to perimenopause. After one month I feel about 90% back to myself. Right about 40 years old my energy, motivation, and intimate desires tanked severely. My brain was foggy, I felt like I was going insane, and not at all like myself. I was miserable. I did the traditional route and saw my doctor. Labs were done and I was "in range" for everything. Well that's it I suppose. Life just sucks now. This can't be it. It doesn't have to be that way. I consulted with Melissa, APRN at Springtide Medical for help. I quickly learned that "in range doesn't mean optimal." She reviewed my labs with me, thoroughly explained how different supplements could help me personally, and introduced me to the knowledge of bioidentical hormone therapy. Mind blowing! I began the supplements and had a testosterone pellet placed in my booty cheek. The pellet placement was pretty quick and pain was minimal. A mild menstrual cramp hurts far more than the procedure. About 8 days later everything changed. I wasn't exhausted to my bones, I was sleeping peacefully, my energy lasts all day seemlessly, the brain fog has cleared, and let's just say my husband is a happy happy fella. I noticed yesterday that I don't need the 32 ounce iced coffee and Alani to survive until 3pm when I would crash out. I feel like a fully functioning human again. I feel like me again like I did in my late 20's!

Springtide Medical deserves no less than a five-star rating!! To be honest, I never knew much about HRT or even realized that it was something that I needed. I think like most of us we were just not educated on it. I am a 72-year-old female and I just accepted that I was getting old and I wasn't going to feel good and I was always going to be tired and I was always going to be achy and miserable .I asked for help from my physician and they said that I was normal and nothing was wrong with me. Then I was told no there is something that can be done to give me back my vitality and love of life back. Springtide will educate you on what you need to know about HRT for both men and women.
